Message by a force causing us to do so).

Otherwise, 8.3 seconds after the disintegration of the sun, the Earth would begin a straight-line path tangetial to its position on the elipse it follows around the sun. It would follow such a path through space until acted upon by a gravitational or other force field. Since Earth has it's own gravity, the atmosphere would be retained, and I project that microscopic and unicellular life would continue under harsh yet livable conditions. (Livable conditions being water, air, and some form of heat > absolute zero.)
